BarMax Bar Prep: Anyone use it or know anyone who did?

All of my friends took BarBri or studied independently - it this a new company or just new to CA?

Semi-new, they started last year with an iPhone app for CA bar then added NY. Now they've made a full fledged iPad app for both states. I'm just looking for anyone who used it for either state to see if it's a solid enough barbri replacement since it only runs $1000 instead of damn near 4k for barbri.
