C & F matters

i worked at an office 5+ years ago and my supervisors had long left. Should I just ask the HR office for an affidavit showing that I worked there and was not sacked and had no discplinary issues?

Ummm.... HR can confirm your employment. Problem should be solved.

Maybe. Depends on why.

Crime of moral turpitude, even if they didn't report you, would probably raise red flags with the bar.
