Federal Rules of Evidence Flowchart?

Post by agentcom » Mon Jan 24, 2011 12:43 pm

Anyone know of a good one?

I'd prefer something editable (Word). I'd also like something fairly comprehensive that includes reference to advisory committee notes.

Of course, ease of use is also a consideration.

Is this out there?

You can PM me if you have something that you're willing to share with me and not the general public.

Thanks!

Unashamedly bumping my own post in hopes of a reply. Maybe I don't know how to use google, but my searches are returning nothing.

(Edit - Nevermind...thought I had a flowchart but I don't.)

You are going to be hard pressed to find one that includes all that information, particularly the Advisory Committee notes. The flowcharts out there, including the ones I made last semester, are more basic for quick referencing.

If you pm me your email I'll send you the stuff I made... only have them in pdf, and no references to ACN, however.

Get the free Westlaw or Lexis copy of the rules, tag each one (rules 1-11), and learn it cold. Worked for me.

anyone have a flowchart they can share?

Finding exceptions to hearsay easy to learn, but having a hard time answering threshold questions about whether something is or is not hearsay. Any suggestions that can help clear this up?

TIA.
