Is there a keyboard shortcut for the § symbol in OneNote?
Does anyone know how to do this?? I've got Word set up so that all I have to do is hit Alt-S.. but this doesn't work in OneNote.
Any ideas? Surely someone else has encountered this problem.

You can set one up:
Tools -> Autocorrect options -> replace: XX with §"
I use "SS." for XX

I do this for everything - ss for symbol, ppp for plaintiff, ddd for defendant, etc. I've been working on hotkeys for awhile and they work great. A lot of freeware available.rekopter wrote:You can set one up:

definitely utilizing this. I actually just had the symbol in one of my documents and I would copy/paste it whenever I needed.

You can insert any symbol using this key combination: <Alt>-i-s-<Tab> (the mnemonic to remember this is "insert symbol") followed by selecting the symbol then pressing <Enter>. The first time it will seem long winded, but after that you can do it in a snap.
