Civ Pro Professor recycled 4 year old exam

Post by uwb09 » Sun Dec 12, 2010 3:50 am

That he had personally discussed with about 1/4th of the section in office hours during the reading period, those students basically had canned answers for the exact fact pattern

yay law school

TCQ is, why were you not a part of that quarter of the class?

ya, several large groups of students have already begun to demand personal meetings with the Dean over the issue, hopefully getting responses by tomorrow

since it's a year long course it shouldn't be too hard to throw a P/F curve on this exam IMO

my last final is tuesday morning so I can't let it get to me too much, but ya, sucks big time, you could tell the professor had kinda given up/thrown in the towel this semester (he's been at this school for 20+ years), but I didn't think he'd go this far

My K's professor pulled his entire 2009 exam from the E&E. I didn't really think much of it... I guess one difference would be that an "A" answer for this professor was nothing like the answer found in the E&E. He didn't pull any shenanigans like that this year, but it does make me wonder if there was any fallout from doing so in '09.

For as much as they pay law professors, this dude should absolutely be fired.

Multiple choice is at least fair...

People having access to the exam beforehand? Not so fair.

Only reason I can fathom that he'd try to this with.

once this whole mess gets figured out i'll be glad to let you know, it's a T2 regional though, and besides this one issue i've been very impressed with the school for what it's worth, i'll be even more impressed if the school can take care of this matter in a proper fashion

no, i'm upset because when I gunned and went to his office to chat him up, I was only allowed to discuss the exams that were in the public exam bank on the library's server

however at some point he decided to start dishing out non-available exams to other students, and giving them model answers for them, which he then proceeded to use for his final exam

Ah. I misunderstood. I thought it was something that any student could go discuss with him.

I vote for public flogging.
