How often are you guys going out this month? Forum

As said in thread title. Just wondering. How often do you guys plan to go to club/social events or go out in general until finals week?

As I have been doing every week thus far in the semester, I take one night off a week. Typically on the nights my school has a hockey game, so I can grab dinner with friends, see the game, and then have a drink afterward to unwind.

I've been thinking the same. I hear people stop going out after the first week of November, but I've been thinking that's just pure insanity! I've gotta occasionally do SOMETHING that's not school-related to fight depression!

If I take off one night a week, it clears my head and makes all the other nights of studying more effective. The aggregate total ends up being better than if I plowed through this stuff each and every night. Don't listen when people say "Oh its November. You need to lock yourself in your room to study". If getting some fresh air for a few hours refreshes you enough to work stronger once you get back to it, it is certainly worth it.

To answer the OP's poll, I'm limiting myself to one night of socializing every two weeks. I'm normally reclusive enough so that this won't be a major inconvenience.
