Post by General Tso » Tue Oct 05, 2010 11:41 pm

Anyone tried to install it yet? I downloaded and installed it, but when I try to login I get an error message each time.

You know it's a Windows-only application, right?
I am an Apple Macintosh user, can I install SofTest on my MAC using Windows?

In order to use SofTest on your Apple Macbook or Macbook Pro, you must have:
MAC OS X Snow Leopard (v. 10.6) or Mac OS X Leopard (v. 10.5) AND
A valid copy of Windows XP, Vista or 7 installed using Apple's Bootcamp Assistant. Use of virtualization software like VMWare, Fusion, Parallels, etc is not allowed
.

Oh, I didn't know that was available (I am planning on tanking a bar exam which requires Mac users to run SofTest via Boot Camp).

you're not using the last seven digits of your ID number, right? You're using the 7 digit number below the picture, that starts with 0 (which must be included), right?

If so, I don't know...
Unrelated, but you taking W&T tomorrow?

Yep, not unrelated to this thread!

It took me three downloads to get the Mac version to work. But it seems buggy...it has crashed on me a couple of times. When I did the practice test, it didnt upload my answers until I restarted the comp. BUT...It never prompted me to restart the computer. So if it doesnt upload tomorrow, be sure to restart on your own.

SofTest doesn't play well with 10.4. What OS do you have?
