My parents make aggregately 500,000 dollars a year.
Is this something I can put on my resume?
If so how do I do it without sounding like a douchebag

$500,000 is nothing... you probably don't want to advertise to employers that your parents are proles.

I just had business card-sized copies of my folks' tax returns made up. I clip them to my resume mailings, give them out at OCI, and just generally hand them out in social settings.

Do you think employers would be impressed to know I come from a well off family?
Like maybe if I can't fit it in my resume, would it be something you would try to force out in the interview?

$500,000 isn't cool. You know what's cool? A billion dollars.

If you have to ask whether they will be impressed by your family, they won't be impressed by your family.GummiBear wrote:Do you think employers would be impressed to know I come from a well off family?

Unless you can demonstrate how coming from a "well-off" family will bring in new business, employees could care less and may actually be somewhat discouraged by the prospect of perceived level of complacency.GummiBear wrote:Do you think employers would be impressed to know I come from a well off family?

This troll is like a gunner. Doesn't know when to stop, the attempt itself is just sad, and the general consensus is that someone needs to
