BC 0L's to be 1L's -- assignments?

Post by imisscollege » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:02 pm

Hey I have heard from tons of other people going to LS that they have HW before school starts but I have heard no communication of this coming from BC. Has anybody heard anything?

With the exception of Civil Procedure and legal writing, a lot of profs start from the beginning of the case book (in substantive classes), and continue straightfoward. Reading now from the beginning would probably be a good idea...hth

This is not true in my experience. Ks was an absolute cluster fuck of jumping around in the book - torts too. Con law was, well, con law.

I guess experiences differ.. but from what friends at different law schools told me, substantive classes pretty much go 1-1000 in their books..

I guess your K book started with undue influence and you didnt read about offer and acceptance until page 363? lol

Professors who assign reading for the first day of class will typically email you the week before classes begin. Some will post assignments to blackboard vista ("bb vista course management" in agora), but they'll still email you first to point you there.
