Good source for 1L outlines?

Post by bleedcubbieblue » Sun Jul 25, 2010 11:26 pm

I'm looking to find some good outlines for my fall 1L classes. Does anyone have a good website recommendation? I know the best thing to do is find outlines from students at my school that had my profs but I'm trying to just get a general idea for the time being.

Does this site look promising? --LinkRemoved--

At some schools you'll be able to get copies of previous semesters' outlines from those who took your professor before from a student organization such as the law school's student government body. Otherwise you can just try to make friends with 2Ls and 3Ls who took your profs and get copies of their outlines from them.

The best outline is one you write yourself, but the second-best is one someone else wrote while taking your professor.

What a novel thread. No one ever asked a question about outlines or websites pertaining thereto.

Make friends with 2Ls and 3Ls and join student organizations for access to their outline banks.

The LexisNexis outlines are basically distilled versions of Lexis' "Understanding" series. They are quite good, but dense.

2Ls and 3Ls are the best source. I used outlinedepot.com to fill in gaps for outlines I received that were sub-par. You have to pay for them, but they are actual outlines from your classes, submitted by past students.

Glad someone has used outlinedepot.com. I'm looking into this site. I've managed to find my law school, classes, and professors. Such an awesome find. Of course this will not replace my own outlines.

If you search xoxohth.com, you should be able to find some excellent work. You'll have to dig through a lot of racism, but you'll almost certainly find something.
