Too clever. A dog deserves a real name, not a joke.

Bruiser or Rocky...those are my dogs' names.

And yes, Bruiser was an ode to Bruiser Woods. I am that lame, it's sad but true.

names that end with a "y" are always good. I like naming dogs after US presidents: Grover, Teddy, Woodrow? Franklin?

I almost got a dog this summer. I was going to name him Sawyer. Great name for a dog.

Name him after your favorite Supreme Court justice? I'm eventually going to get a dachshund (see tar) and name him Felix Frankfurter, Frankie for short.

I like Newman because when he's bad you can say "Newman!" a la Jerry, but Spiro is nice, too.

Whatever you do, DON'T name it after beer. I can't tell you how many Buds, Guinnesses, and Killians I met in college. I even knew a Nattie. When I got my dog as a puppy, his name was Brewster. Fucking stupid. Now it's Max.
