Law School Weekends

Post by tuna4 » Tue Jul 20, 2010 3:12 pm

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but it seemed apt to me. How do you current students spend your weekends? I am debating whether or not I'll be able to travel a couple weekends in the beginning of the semester, without falling behind. I've had these trips planned for some time, but I don't want them to interfere with school. Do most of you spend the weekends studying, or do you have free time? Any insight or suggestions are much appreciated.

You will have time to travel. The only time it gets tough is towards exam time or when a legal writing assignment is due. I was able to attend all my military reserve weekends without it impacting my studies.

I traveled on some weekends during school. I just studied longer during the weeks, and brought a little work with on the trip. It's definitely workable if it's not every single weekend--or near final exams.

It won't be a problem in the first half of the semester, and if you manage your time well you could probably pull it off after that as well.
