Anyone Taking the August MPRE?
Just wondering what people were doing to prepare for the exam. I was reading past threads where people said they only studied for like 7 hours, but I'm nervous about not putting that much into it.
Also I thought it would be nice to chit chat about any anxiety we feel.

I am. Have you taken any classes in professional responsibility or legal ethics or whatnot? I take my final in Professional Responsibility (summer session obv) two weeks before the MPRE, so I don't really plan on doing any other studying. My prof said in the past 10 years only five people at our school have passed the class and not passed the MPRE.lishi wrote:Just wondering what people were doing to prepare for the exam. I took it last August, 1 day of studying is sufficient to refresh your studying from the class... 2 days if you are a worrywart.
My tip: pay extremely close attention to the wording on the exam, they will try to trick you with the "may disclose" and "must disclose" or the may/must withdraw crap.

Yeah I took PR last semester. I was thinking of doing a few hours a day starting the week of the exam. First to go over the BarBri lecture by Chereminsky, fill in the outline, and then the rest of the days going over the BarBri book and re-learning the randomness that is PR.

Just thought I would also throw out a link that helped me a lot with a bunch of different MPRE exams and questions so you can get a flavor for the exam.

Sounds good. And don't worry too much about it.lishi wrote:Yeah I took PR last semester. I was thinking of doing a few hours a day starting the week of the exam. That also goes for after the exam. Almost everybody walks out of there either sure they failed or really unsure they passed. The majority passes; the vast majority of people who studied for more than an hour or so passes.

I'm taking the BarBri class. It's free because I already signed up for the bar class and am up to date with all my required payments.
