I've really always wanted to get into the business world and I feel a JD/MBA program will be a solid start along with speaking 3 verbal languages and non-verbal(Sign Language).
Unfortunately, I'm not going to a law school that offers both programs (Darn it, I should have been more selective maybe?)
Anyhow, what are thoughts?
I've seen so many top executive positions with MBA/JD that really gets my interest

1) Why are you in law school if your goal is to crack the business world? The MBA would be a better fit, plus, you put more focus on it than your law degree in your post. It seems as though continuing with law school is a waste of time for you.
2) Can you transfer to a school that offers the JD/MBA track? Most dual-enrolled law students start their grad program in the second year. Look into it if you haven't already.

Just get the JD, that gets businesses plenty interested. You don't need that MBA. Im from the business side with an MBA getting my JD.

I will join the party of people saying that unless you have a really specific reason to want an MBA, it's not worth the extra years and money, especially if you're not in a joint program. Get through 1L and then see if you're still remotely interested in the MBA is my advice. If so, then look harder at programs.

Agreed with the MBA. I have an MBA and I am pursuing my JD now. My background is in finance and entrepreneurship, I'm pretty familiar with the landscape. One thing to consider if you like finance - your CFA. CFA is a highly respected credential and you can learn a ton just from studying for the tests. Depending on the type of "business" you want to go into, the CFA could be more useful than the JD.

CPA > CFA anytime but heck still not necessary to have a MBA to sit for either of those.
MBA is a money sink if you are getting a JD. JD gives you the $ boost for advanced education in the business world above what an MBA does.
Talk about asking for pain though. CPA exam is harder than passing the bar. Every time someone tries to tell me how hard the bar is gonna be I laugh a little on the inside.
