have you always dreamed of being a lawyer? if so, why?

I'm actually really curious. I mean I can see the appeal on some level but I don't get people for whom it's a lifetime goal. I mean what exactly about the job do you find appealing?

The money, and the POWER!

The real reason is because father did a great amount of forensic accounting work as a CPA, and I got very interested in the law and how it works at an early age. Not one to enjoy working with numbers, so probably won't head in that same tax/accounting direction, but that was the spark. And hey, if money and power come with it, I'm not complaining hahaha.

I saw Doug Hefferman ficticiously represent himself as an attorney on The King of Queens and it intrigued me.

I've wanted to be a lawyer since before I understood was prestige was. When all my friends wanted to be princesses, I was parading around in a tie and telling everyone I was going to be an attorney. It just seemed perfectly suited to my interests. I was a really early reader, and lawyering is a reading/writing profession. I like to research stuff and think about stuff and argue about stuff. It just seemed right.
