GTown PT switch to FT after 1L Forum

For those of you who are doing GTown PT and then decided to switch to FT..were you able to secure a job/clerkship/or anything law related in the 2nd half of your 1L summer? What is the start and end date for the summer classes etc...does the entire 1st summer become a wash because you have to take 7 credits or is there still time to secure employment. Any details much appreciated!!

I will defer to the GULCees but at Fordham the summer credits are at night so you can work the whole summer.

Hmm that would work perfectly..only problem is then ur limited to DC area only

That's true most of us have gigs in NYC. Although there are some abroad programs where you can pick up the credits and I think some set you up with some type of externship while you're abroad.

I'm a full-time 1L, but I know several people in the PT program who are working the first half of the summer, then doing GULC's London Summer Program the second half to knockout the classes.
