Any Harvard 1Ls? Forum

Hi,

I posted this in another thread randomly but no one answered it and I was hoping a 1L wouldn't mind answering. I've searched for a 'Harvard 1L taking questions' thread but nothing came up - or rather, lots of threads came up but none of them useful. Apologies if I've missed a big one.

Can anyone just tell me what the actual day to day schedule is like? Do you have a lot of classes? Are they all day or just in the morning? How many hours do you study each day? Are you able to work in the library? Is it open all hours?

I'm beginning to look for an apartment and it will affect where I choose to live so any help would be amazing.

And also - how much were the first semester books (plus horn books or whatever) - I'm trying to create a budget.

Thank you! If everyone just stuck to similar structures 'Harvard 1L taking questions' or Harvard 1L taking qus' etc, then the search would be less awful.
