Read the joinder section of the E&E before tomorrow. Very important.

Read both sections on joinder. The second section on joinder ties all of the loose ends back together.

Pennoyer is a civ pro word, but I suppose studying con law for too long would make it funny. Carry on with your break.

What is the purpose of tabbing outlines

Well considering he hasn't used it to take practice tests [assuming this is open-note], its so he can instantly turn to the page he is looking for because he hasn't been scribbling all over it for the past week taking PTs? Or is there something more you are looking for? Is there a benefit to not take 10 minutes to tab an outline?

Ahhh, I will agree with you there, but you assume he is bringing in a long outline where I assume he is bringing in an attack outline that has not been properly tested out. And while tabbing may be superfluous on small/practiced outlines, I don't think I can see it having a substantially negative effect, even if it just helps you flip pages.

Table of contents. I had a 50 page civ pro outline and had no trouble finding stuff even without page numbers or a table of contents but tabs never help me so I'd just say go with the TOC.

I wouldn't exactly call it laziness. I just took on too much this semester.

I'm going into crim with a 110 page stack. But i have briefs for all the cases, and all the substance. Will I need to open my stack? probably not! Even if a test is open book I memorize all the substance and policy arguments; however, we didn't learn "caca" all semester long, so I want to have with me anything he may ask. We didn't even cover accomplice liability for God's sake.

Edit: My real outline is only 2 pages long.... and I have it on the back of the huge stack so that I can use it as a check list for issue spotting.

If you mean instead of him kicking ass, he won't. One doesn't need a fancy outline to be ready.

Some silly movie premised on aliens masquerading as humans and controlling the world from behind the scenes.

:D

Property outline... 41 pages and getting longer, not shorter. Editing fail.

I already had the grades dream :( AND I still have one final left. And I'm too exhausted to use the panic over my subconscious awarding me a "bB" in Torts to learn Ks. Yes, my imaginary transcript awarded me random letter and symbols instead of a GPA.

My friend and I realized last semester that we hadn't been taught K's, and learned it all from Gilberts in the last 3 days before the final.

don't underestimate joinder, one early mistake in a massive joinder clusterfuck led to my only horrible grade in law school.
I followed the advice of the TLSers here and sure enough, joinder essay question. Studying of joinder helped no doubt. I think I crushed civ pro, but then again, my feelings are never right on these things.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
