Negotiating MERIT money??

Post by madisonian » Sat Apr 24, 2010 3:14 pm

Is it possible to successfully negotiate for merit money when you are an accepted student below the school's median?
What if you have no merit awards from competing schools and no other acceptances for that matter? School in question is a top 20 school.

Nope. If i were you I would beg for need money. Probably won't work, but if you want to write a letter focus on need.
