I don't understand...is this tongue-in-cheek or serious? It's not that funny either way.

.2/10 (only beause you obviously took the time to type it all out and maybe even thing of your "witty" one-liners to accompany each school.)

+2 making fun of Philly was definitely the way to go... I wasn't aware of a weed stigma...

Lack of personal hygiene and a general air of superiority coupled with regular histrionics. Sometimes also drug users who are completely unproductive and irrelevant in society.

Yea, the Chicago one is pretty much the only one where I didn't fail at humor. And yes, this was tongue in cheek, it wasn't serious at all. The Penn one was a shot at Philly, not the school.

Pfft. Here are a few of my favorite definitions a la urbandictionary:

One who embraces life to the fullest. Promotes peace, love and happiness, but sure as hell sticks up for what they believe in. Anyone can be a hippie, not just that dirty dread-locked tie-dyed pothead with the dead shirt on. HIPPIES ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!

One who looks upon all of these negative definitions and shakes his head thinking how sad it must be to no longer have the ability to dream of a world that we were all taught to strive for as children. One who loves everyone without prejudice.

A person with a non-conformist state of mind. non-conformist in the sense that they don't conform to the socially accepted, but in return conform to other hippies with the same peace of mind ideaology. not always disillusioned by the use of psychedelics, marajuana, or other drugs. which is a common misconception. their common ambitions are for a utopia. they are anti war, many are vegeterian, and act in non violent protest (if they do use violence they are hypocritical) it is unfair to make steriotypes of these people who just want to live their lives with equality and love, and peace.

One who believes in values such as peace, love, and happiness. However, the rest of the world can not seem to grasp these concepts and chose war, hate, and misery. Thus, they despise the ways of the hippies.

Meth heads are really productive in their first year of addiction. Then the dribble off.

Hahaha, even this definition oozes with a better than thou attitude. Also, they regularly claim they want equality, love and peace using histrionics, when in fact they only want that if the "equality" doesn't compromise their current lifestyle.

Since when do hippies do meth?? Hippies do weed, LSD, you know, things that expand your mind. What you just described sounds more like a drug addict. :?

The words hippie and drug addict are far from mutually exclusive, hth.

This is true but claiming that hippies are druggies is not realistic nor is it productive. This makes hippies who don't do drugs feel even more superior to you, because they believe that they proved your stereotype wrong and that they have all the good aspects of being a hippie and none of the bad. This in fact is not true. They still make false claims both about themselves (what they "want" and strive for) and others (thing like "people just want love and affection").

Edited for clarity.

I see a problem....serious spell check fail on the part of hippies. No WAY they can be lawyers with that type of effort. :P

To be fair, those were just regular hippies and not future lawyer hippies. Future lawyer hippies would have certainly run a spell check before submitting.
