Rank the 1L classes, most boring to least!
Try to put aside the professor and just focus on the material. Also LRW doesn't count because that's evil and everyone knows it. Okay, here's my list, starting with the most boring:
1. Civil Procedure
(huge, huge gap)
2. Property
3. Contracts
4. Crim Pro
5. Torts
6. Crim
What say you, TLS?!?
edit: I forgot Con Law. Kind of a tough one, as someone else alluded to. Generally you're dealing with interesting stuff, but it can be a total pain getting through the reading.

most boring by far is civ pro
i am impressed by anyone who finds that class interesting. at the end it's ok because you have a good idea of the rules and policies, but learning it was one of the most awful things i've done in my life.

I guess it just depends on the profs. Civ Pro was by far my favorite class of 1st semester, and Admin is the winner this semester.
Most boring have got to be Contracts and...Contracts. Everything else is fine, sometimes interesting, sometimes not.

1. Torts
2. Property
3. Crim
4. Contracts
5. CivPro (here is where the fun of lawyering is. You may have a weak case, but you can cause the other side enough headaches that maybe it becomes less beneficial for them to keep pressing the issue. At the very least, you can cause them to rack up expenses that make their clients think twice.)

3. Contracts
4. Con Law
5. Property
6. Crim
7. Civ Pro
I think this list has more to do with rating my professors, to be honest. Interesting how many of us loved civ pro given its horrible rep.

another civpro lover here - definitely attributable to an awesome professor. also must admit though that writing was one of my faves too
again though my prof was awesome and taught us a lot of strategic lawyering, strong writing techniques, and was just inspirational all around.

civpro
crim / LRW
torts
constitutional law
property
contracts
I was kind of torn over where to put Constitutional Law. Class was fascinating and engaging, but the reading was almost unbearable. I would rather read 1408080000 pages of real estate transactions and future estates than that self-important turgid bullshit.

1) CON LAW....ugh (boring and hardest to read. I wasn't a liberal arts major though.)
.
.
.
2) Civ Pro
3) Torts (easy but boring)
4) Contracts
5) Property
6) Crim
I think I am the odd one out, but I liked Legal Practice.
This doesn't correlate with how well I did in each class though, just how much I liked the subject material.
