Online Bluebook?

Post by Renzo » Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:22 pm

I have my Bluebook all tabbed and marked up, so I'm pretty efficient at finding what I need quickly. However, I hate having to move my attention back and fourth from book to computer to look things up, and god forbid I actually leave it in the other room and have to stand up and use my legs to get it. Has anyone paid for the online Bluebook? Is it worth it for someone who's pretty fast with the paper copy?

I have it. I almost never open the printed version. It has good textual search features and you can make notes and bookmark pages. It's still just bluebook but I can't be bothered to open that fucking spiral bound POS.

Very helpful, thanks. What's the format of the online material? Is it searchable, or PDF/PDF-like pages, or just hyperlinks to different rules?

It's regular HTML pages with links and search features. The part is the little notes you can make that help you find the page again. My handwriting sucks so margin scribbles in tiny books=fml.

I've got 50,000 post-it flags on my physical bluebook. It looks like Mardi Gras gone wrong, but I can find stuff pretty quick. I was worried about not having these, but it sounds like the note feature would work.

Thanks for the screenshot, dood. I hate having to leave my keyboard to check formats, but I can buy a lot of beer for $25 so I wanted to make sure it's worth it. Looks like it is, so methinks I'll sign up.
