2 judicial internships -- redundant?

Post by missmarioncrane » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:47 pm

I am a 1L who secured a summer internship with an SDNY judge. I just heard from a 2nd Circuit judge I had applied to some time ago. I am already spoken for this summer. However, I am considering asking about a fall-term internship (I go to school in NYC). Would an internship with the 2nd Circuit be redundant (both in terms of my experience and its resume value)?

No, I don't see how that would be redundant. No, it wouldn't be redundant. Actually, I don't think that would be too redundant, as long as you didn't do it again.

Probably not redundant, unless you did it again. Then it would be redundant (if you did it again).

Not redundant at all. You should always post three times in all forums when you post. Of course, when posting in forums, three is the number you should post. Not one, not two, not five, but three is the number you must post. Otherwise people might think your posts are redundant.

Meaning you didn't tell the other judges you applied to that you had accepted a job already?
