I try to comfort myself with alcohol and vast quantities of food. In social circles I remain on the outskirts so as not to offend my classmates who do not treasure academic excellence as I do.

She resists but he refuses to relent and inevitably is referred tot he dean for formal review of his case who gives him the grade because she likes his style. True story.
