Re: Another Transfer Question
Thanks. I saw that already. Most people listed there were either ranked in the top 15% or so or from 25-33%tile. There weren't a lot of data in my range and school ranking.

Re: Another Transfer Question
Probably need around top 1/3 to transfer since the schools you are wanting to transfer to are close to the rank of your current school. Why do you want to transfer? Don't do it just because USNews tells you that a school is a few spots higher in the rankings. If you are in the best school in the state that you want to practice in then transferring is not going to be worth it. The problem with USNews rankings is it ranks all the schools against each other nationwide and fails to account for regional differences. Most schools outside of the t14/17 are very regional so it doesn't make a lot of sense to transfer to, e.g., Illinois when you want to work in NYC or LA. Also, keep in mind transferring means paying sticker at your new school, so if you are on a decent scholarship you should probably be pretty hesitant to the idea of paying sticker at schools outside of the t10 or possibly t14 schools with the current economy.
