dear god how do you manage 6 classes in one semester

i am pretty sure my ls was trying to kill the 1L's. luckily i have 1 less class this semester.

It was buried in an email from OCS, something like "transcripts will not be available until Jan 20th. After that date they can be printed from ALBERT"

Renzo, I can't get on your school's website! I need to upload more cover letters so I can take my mind off this horrible wait. It won't matter what my grades are because I'm never going to be employed.

I had six last semester (16 hrs) and have six this semester (15hrs). I still have no grades.

I just gave up and decided to apply directly to employers because I can't deal with NYU's website crashing every five minutes.

I doubt they'll be giving any more time, the first email wasn't very sympathetic. It basically said they were sorry it sucked, and that they'd work on it, but to try and upload at off-peak times.

A seemingly rare situation here. I have 4/5 grades back already. I feel for those of you who have 0 feedback heading into next semester.

another thing to consider while waiting for grades:

trying to make a last minute decision on my 2nd semester elective.

options are: corporations, environmental law, intellectual property and family law

have it narrowed down to family law and intellectual property now

worth noting family law has a lot of "homework" and "projects" and only 50 % of the grade is based on the final...

I have no vested interest in either subject. I'm leaning IP right now. Thoughts?

nope. that said, Michigan is starting to move. i checked my transcript a half-an-hour ago and two grades popped up (from having none).

Thank you. Just to make sure, are you checking your "View Grades" under "Enrollment" or "View Unofficial Transcript" under "Academic Records"? I don't have any grades in either yet, but just wondering if they both update at the same time or one is "the one" to watch.

You can check either; as far as I know, both update at the same time. I think if you check grades under the enrollment tab, they load faster. I use transcript, because I don't have to keep changing the term.
