I am the poster child for 1L relationship fail.
My condolences.
Do the healthy thing. Bury yourself in work. Take stock after finals.

I was crying today.
I got the lowest grade in a midterm... the lowest score out of a 50 person class.
I hate law school.

I feel for you... I also hate law school and am not performing as well as I had hoped.
All you can do at this point is use it as motivation to study for finals. If you bomb finals, then it may be time to assess the situation. Good luck!

Have you been able to talk with the professor about what went wrong?

Well hopefully that'll shed some light on what happened. No reason why you shouldn't be able to improve!

Got a fucking 89 on our quick turn around assignment, I'm just bitter he didn't give me a 90. Counts for jack shit though, so I guess whatever.

I've seen the "Acing Property" book and it seemed nice enough.
I've heard Acing Civ Pro is legit.
I have that one too. It's not updated with the Erie stuff, but then again nothing is since Shady Grove came out a few months ago.
Also, sorry about the breakup, eandy

Had hate sex with a gunner from my class. Not only helped me to get over break-up stress, but she has shut up in class. Bonus.

Obviously, the shame of sectioncest has broad effect on the gunner lifestyle. She probably felt a tinge of emotion during the sex and feels guilty over it.

Good God, it seems like I never do as much as I want. I sit in the library for like 8 hours after class and after I get through the 3-4 readings I need to do for tomorrow, look at an E&E on a topic I need help with (Read: Civ Pro all the time), outline for an hour, take a break for 45 mins, and do the memo for 2 hours I run out of time. Just writing it down seems like its productive, but seriously I feel like I should be able to get more done in 8 hours than that. I do read pretty slow so maybe thats it, or maybe its TLS.

Took my first full CivPro practice exam today. It was pure thrown-into-a-lions-den brutality...but now I have the fear of god in my blood. I FEEL ALIVE

I took my first timed CivPro exam yesterday (minus 1 question we didn't cover).
It seems like the more hypo's and exams I work with, the more I realize how scared to death I am of these exams. (not the exams themselves, but not being prepared for them

Redoing my crim outlines for the 3rd time, shoot me. Finally figured out what she wants though. Have to make separate charts with the facts and outcome of all our fucking cases. I lost points on the midterm for not analogizing the fact pattern to the cases we read (which bore little to no factual similarity anyway...)

tangent: Most of my family and cousins are immigrants in the US (think blue collar jobs). I decided to take advantage of the search function of Lexis and found a few criminal cases dealing with my relatives. Didn't realize my family were outlaws. (3rd degree assault cases with crowbars on a deal gone wrong) lol
