Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
Have not started practice tests but have completed outlines (just need a little cleaning up), done with reading for semester, and have done all supplement reading except for Ks. First final is a week from Tuesday and I kind of feel nervous. Not due to a perceived lack of preparation but due to the fact that everyone in my small section seems more intelligent than me. If your professor is like mine, in that your Ks class is really just sales/UCC, then there is an E&E on Sales/Leases that is phenomenal. Obviously Leases (2-A) would not apply, but the rest of the stuff is golden.Unagi wrote:Thank you all for the help!
I think the E&E made it less difficult for me. Thanks for the flowchart indication too.
And Jsa725, thank you for your explanation! I just sent you a PM.

Brothas - the time is almost here, the stress is rising, but I CSWS.
Torts - whothefuckeverknows
Contracts - I am feeling ok about it, except that my professor uses a strict grading checklist (It is how he has never before had to implement a curve) and so it concerns me that no matter how hard I study if I miss one sentence I will get docked points.
Criminal Law - Feel great about it.
Let's keep that grinding going, everyone in this fucking thread should hit ~80 hours at least this week. NO EXCUSES. NO REGRETS. CSWS!

My laid back personality is getting the best of me...I'm doing my work and all, but not stressing anywhere near what I'm seeing from others.

I finally feel like I'm comfortable with all of my professors exam styles and questions (and what they expect), which is a good feeling. Now it's all about memorizing my outlines and learning the law as best I can (and taking more PT's, obviously).

Not sure if this has been posted in here, but I found it in an older thread.

I was wondering this too. It really does not seem like people in my section are gunning.minnbills wrote:Nah I don't think so (for most people, anyways.)Nova wrote:theyre lyingbrotherdarkness wrote:Got back to class today and everyone was talking about how nice it was to enjoy break and do absolutely no work.

I've also wondered if the people in my section are secretly gunning. I hope they aren't.

People probably work harder than they let on, but I think the typical student (at least from what I've seen at my school) is not gunning that hard.swimmer11 wrote:I was wondering this too. I only think a few people, outside of the three who I do practice tests with, have really even started to take practice final exams.gaud wrote:I've also wondered if the people in my section are secretly gunning. I hope they aren't.

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
Hah yeah, same for me. I'm generally open with people when we're discussing what we're doing/studying/whatever, but I obviously don't really know what a lot of people are secretly doing. Then again, I overheard a few people complaining like 2 weeks ago how it was still taking ~3 hours a night just to do their reading. You'd think by that point people would learn how to save time, guess not...gaud wrote:I've also wondered if the people in my section are secretly gunning. I hope they aren't.
