I think it depends on your target audience. Since you're applying for law firms, probably not. But if you were going for more tech oriented firms, then I would definitely say having Reddit on your resume won't hurt you. With that being said, I don't think an employer won't hire you just because you put Reddit as one of your interests.

It actually would weaken his point if the results from the SS were due to his browsing history, as employers would not be seeing the obscene autocomplete search terms if they just did a quick google of reddit.com.

Really depends on the context.
One of my interviewers from a boutique Technology/IP firm in the Bay Area was a redditor.
Needless to say we hit it off pretty quickly and I received a callback and offer.
