I don't even know why this thread is so long. The bar is not going to consider this, aside from maybe adding another disclaimer clause to the ExamSoft's instructions.
What unfair advantage? Your score is your score regardless of what happens to them. If nothing else, shouldn't the bar get as much information about the problem as possible to ensure it doesn't happen again? No one here has made any specific demands about what they think should happen apart from making sure the bar is fully informed.
Yeah, its not like the bar bends to the whims of everyone that has an issue. At this point, it is best to notify them of the problem, and if they see how widespread and damaging a problem is, hopefully they can find a fair solution

BTW, thanks TLS (and online media) for helping spread the word of the glitch to those impacted. I was truly shocked to see how many people were impacted by this glitch.

TLS was an especially great resource, because not everyone at every test center received a welcoming response from the State Bar after encountering the problem. Some did not even know it was possible to report the issue until they were told about this thread on TLS or read the abovethelaw article. Thank you to those TLS posters who notified impacted friends.

Hopefully everything works out for everyone going forward.

Yeah, I know personally of at least 25 people who've called, and I bet that number could be like 50 or more. Weird that they would say they haven't heard anything about it.

Just wanted to bump this. I know that the bar has been actively working with some February applicants, but the recent errors have brought these issues into the spotlight again. PM me if you have any questions.
