I said I was going to start yesterday. IT WAS A LIE. Today I'm going to start, well, at least I'm going to read the prompt and cases.

So I've now written a second paper in footnotes. And I'm only about half done with bluebooking.

Yes. Feeling like I may be going over the page limit as I fill out all the bluebooking . . .

Read 100 pages. 450 to go if I read the whole packet. We have no prompt other than "make an argument." 2 weeks to go. Bleh.

You both go to Hastings. All I'm going to tell you is to focus on the Bluebooking more than the analysis/writing.

2 weeks? We got ten days, and I had to defer my exam, which gave me 7 days. I'm ready to throw in the towel.

7 days as well here. Pretty big time crunch.

This just convinced me to surrender:

Rising 3L: "Also, you should know, everyone hates being on a journal. They do it because it looks good but NO ONE enjoys it. They have all described it as a living hell."

Fuck this.

Every plan I've made for this thing has been totally shot. Have Bluebooking thing done, but not sure it's worth more than a turd so the plan is to check it every day with new eyes. Of course, that's assuming I can actually sit my ass down and get my brief done.

brief is done.. got the draft to be somewhat recognizable and with 7 words to spare... now tomorrow is bluebook testing day (oh joy oh joy)... but now its on to 10 cent wing night and a few brews

The only thing that is giving me any hope of completing this is the fact that the Diablo 3 servers keep going down.

God, if I were as into Diablo 3 as I was into Diablo 2 in high school, I wouldn't even be able to complete summer employment.

My write-on hasn't started yet. But I'm looking at supposedly good examples from years past, and I'm fairly certain I've found a fairly significant bluebooking error. But why would they use an example with such a significant bluebooking error? Am I getting it wrong? I've been looking all over my bluebook for a reason why this may be correct:
Chisom v. Roemer, 501 U.S. 480, 403 (citing Allen v. State Board of Elections, 393 U.S. 544,
567 (1969)).
Can anyone tell me why the date parenthetical for the first case (from 1991) was omitted?

They might be trolling you by intentionally creating errors.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
