After extensive research, decided to go with Themis. No matter which company you go with, it all boils down to one thing - how well you can remember massive amounts of information that is thrown your way. And picking one company over another will not make you a better memorizer.

I talked my way into Themis for 1250 last week. Good deal IMO.

This is correct. I had both Kaplan and Barbri materials and the difference was negligible. I'm sure Themis is equally as good.

This may be a dumb question, but for Themis, are you able to print out the state essay questions and MBE questions before you take simulated tests? Or is everything online, including the state essay questions?

Damn nice get. Kaplan was auctioned off by some group at my school, and it looked like it was going to go for 500. And I was MAF that I just paid 1250, but then at the last minute it went to like 1500.

I've been negotiating with these two. Themis is at 1010. How much extra would you be willing to pay for Barbri? I convinced myself Themis was the way to go but now BarBri has been upping their offer and I'm struggling to resist the herd.
Either way I'll be taking it at home so the in classroom aspect of BarBri is meaningless.

If you want to study with friends maybe a couple hundo. But if not, probably 0.

Thanks, that's what I was starting to think. Especially since the Themis method may be more effective.

I'm with Themis and think its nuts to pay double or even triple for BarBri unless your firm is covering it.
