Median = UNBEFUCKINGLIEVABLE
33%ile = FUCK YES
25%ile = expected (I hope)
15&ile = FML
<15%ile =
And no, that is not a joke. I didn't do very good at all this semester.

I'd be pretty happy at median, but I would be more surprised if I was bottom 20% than if I were top 20% (thank god writing isn't weighted as heavily)

Don't have a letter grade for LW yet but he gave us all of our memos. Looks like I'll be about median there. Meh.

Fuck I wish my LRW was weighted more. Professor e-mailed our grades a few days earlier than expected and got an A. But it's only worth 2 credits.

checking in...LRW is looking pretty good, but I can't help thinking I botched at least half an essay in civ pro today.

I feel like my performance in LRW was one of the best out of all my classes this semester.
Too bad it's pass/fail.

Don't you go to Harvard? It may not be pass/fail but it's still on that watered-down H/P/LP system, right?

Everybody says not to worry. Well I'm not doing very well with that. I mean this grade matters so much.

Of course the grade matters so much but once you hand exam in, there is nothing else you can do. Sure, you can go over your performance in your head and have regrets about what you could have done better. But at this point, with the exams in the professor's hands, there is nothing we can do. So there is no need to worry about something we no longer have any control over.

If I get median I'll be totally satisfied.
It's like we're all the same person.

Just had my last final today. A classmate told me that our grades are supposed to come out Jan. 6th. If I'm in the top 25%, I'll be happy, because it means I'll keep my scholarship.

I wanted to be in the top 5-10%, but now I just...I don't know anymore. I will probably be at median.

Exactly. Now I'd be happy to be at median.

I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up at median, but it doesn't mean I'll be happy either. I'm going to gun even harder next semester - being at median at my school is more or less a death sentence.

+1. I have one more semester to make up for the mediocre grades I'm expecting to get back. I'm damn well going to make it count.

Had nightmares about being below median last night. I finished my last exam yesterday. This is going to be a LONG three weeks.

I had a dream a couple weeks ago that I got my grades back and had a 3.6. I was super ecstatic. Then I woke up, realized I was dreaming, and was super pissed off.

anything above median and i'll be pretty happy. anything below, and i will be crushed. i can't see being below median for at least two of my classes, but we'll see.
