PHONE CALLS ARE GOING OUT!!!! JUST GOT A CALL!! Good luck to all...its been great watching the posts and staying updated.

Can anyone else confirm or is this just a cruel prank? My understanding was phone calls only went out to those who had a connection via internship.

I just read what you all said and desperately searched for my phone which was way in the other room. I had a missed call and voicemail from a LCDR requesting me to call her back. I just left a message, but hopefully that means good news!!

Thing is, my application still says pending. Absolutely no change either way. That is why I asked. Can any of you who say you've received phone calls please check your application status to see what the deal is.

I got a phone call but my online status still says Pending

My guess is that we should get the note from the Flags in the next day or so detailing some of the stats. Looks like it was another board where they selected a pretty high number just based on the positive response here.

I'm located in the southwest and a call came around 9:00 this morning. However, I am still waiting to confirm it was an offer because I missed the call and only received a voice mail.

Do they call people to reject them?

I don't know. More than any other armed service, it seems that we are largely kept in the dark on the whole accessions program. Most of us only get the notice from the flags, we never know the names of those selected or anything else.

I haven't heard a thing, though I fully expect to login to the status checker and see a ding in the near future. At least we will have 3 more bites at the apple.

For those who did not get a call yet, all hope may not be lost. When I got selected in the spring, my status changed in the morning, but I didn't receive a call until about 1400 PST.
