My world. Unless my grades are bad... because I'm probably drinking Jack either way, since it's the only liquor I consistently possess.vanwinkle wrote:That's funny, I have a hard time envisioning a world in which Jack is.superserial wrote:I'm having a hard time envisioning a world in which Jack isn't good news.

Grades are supposed to be up nowish. I doubt they actually are, but I'm in class, and I feel like looking during class could prove to be a disaster.

I'd more likely react to a negative result by rearranging some drywall.superserial wrote:yeah.. too many people creeping behind you, and the possibility that you randomly burst into tears.apper123 wrote:Grades are supposed to be up nowish. Ours are supposed to come out mid-class this afternoon as well. Way too many prying eyes around to check them out. I may take paper notes today just to stay as far away as possible. Good luck when you do check though!apper123 wrote:Grades are supposed to be up nowish. I doubt they actually are, but I'm in class, and I feel like looking during class could prove to be a disaster.

I checked (after class was over and in the privacy of a corner of the library). They aren't up. Of course.samiseaborn wrote:Ours are supposed to come out mid-class this afternoon as well. Also our torts prof emailed out the grade distribution for the course. I had the highest A- (of 10 A-s) and he gave out 2 As. Sick beat?
But more interesting: There was an F and a D. Everyone took the final, and everyone is back to start this semester.

Well I'm not sure the F or D know who they are yet. He just sent out the distribution with no #s attached. I only saw my grade cause I visited him in office hours.mistergoft wrote:apper123 wrote:

Stressing badly. Reading the "what did we learn?" thread just makes me more worried.

Weee A- in legal writing. Wasn't expecting that, actually. Thought I'd get a B+. Ship it.
With 10 of my 14 credits in, I have a 3.85 (on a 3.0 curve).
This last grade could do wonders or cripple me...

wouldn't you need an F- to hit median?apper123 wrote:Weee A- in legal writing. Wasn't expecting that, actually. Thought I'd get a B+. Ship it.

I swear I'm going to killself just to end the waiting. Still only one.
Also, if people in my class failed, I don't want to know. I really, really, really don't want to know, and I am eternally grateful that grades (mine only) can be viewed online.

Yeah, but I want to be top 10 %. Shoot for the stars and you might hit the moon, etc.Kohinoor wrote:wouldn't you need an F- to hit median?apper123 wrote:Weee A- in legal writing. Wasn't expecting that, actually. Thought I'd get a B+. Ship it.

At this point unless I got below median in my final class (which is possible I guess), I'm PROBABLY (not necessarily) top 25 %, which is something to be proud of.
