Results will be out at 4:30 for my state...and the day is already moving super slowly. Ugh this sucks. I'm so nervous.

Re: bar results waiting thread
All but two of my friends now have their results. All have passed/everyone we can think to google. I'm super proud of them/happy for them, but honestly, someone from my school has to fail, and since it hasn't been anyone else, I'm really thinking this doesn't bode well for my chances. Why you so slow NY?

Are you in GA? (also, Emory? - me too). I don't think the mail is an indication of anything. My understanding is that sometimes it comes early in the mail, and sometimes it doesn't. I'm just bracing for 4:30, but, of course, anything before then would be nice.M_n_M wrote:Mail came, but no results?

Re: bar results waiting thread
Yeah, I assumed most would show up today, but its not a sure thing. I don't think its really possible to get sworn in today, plus get a bar number assigned and all that, given that its Friday afternoon already. But yeah, Monday should be doable if they'd get the letters out on time. Does mail get delivered Saturday? I should probably know the answer to that... (didn't they recently stop Saturday delivery?)M_n_M wrote:Yes to both. I'm just surprised the letter didn't show up today. What if I needed to swear-in today (or Monday if it doesn't show tmrw). Also, why is Emory's swearing-in ceremony all the way in November?cendien wrote:Are you in GA? (also, Emory? - me too). I don't think the mail is an indication of anything. And I have no idea re: Emory's ceremony. Nov 13 is what I was told yesterday, which is way too far off. I'm just going to try to find a judge to do it before then - probably next week - assuming things go well today.

Re: bar results waiting thread
Just saw my score - Ohio sends them out.
Average to below average MBE scores - 127 scaled to 144 (I always sucked at MBE). (41st percentile)
I dominated the essays, with 3 scores in the top 5% (both crim questions and contracts) and had some other good ones as well. (84th percentile)
Bros - I thought I was going to fail for sure. I passed by a ton. If you took it seriously, you will pass. Good luck to everyone waiting - this forum has been a godsend.

So I may wanna waive into DC. Their app says its $400 but everyone I seem to remember people on TLS last year saying it was way more expensive. How much does requesting copies of your MPRE and MBE to send them cost? Also, its takes 8+ months to waive in, seriously?

Is there any way (without paying) of even finding out what your MBE score was if your state doesn't tell you? Mine just says I passed.BarbellDreams wrote:So I may wanna waive into DC. I like the asterisk MPRE approach. NC just doesn't tell you if you passed the bar until you get the MPRE done.

I doubt it. If there was enough people would have found out about it to make the fee obsolete.Stinson wrote:Is there any way (without paying) of even finding out what your MBE score was if your state doesn't tell you? Mail still gets delivered on Saturdays. They announced that they would stop it, then changed their minds last I heard. In this political climate, though, that could change in no time.cendien wrote:Yeah, I assumed most would show up today, but its not a sure thing.
