Our fact pattern was really simple so I don't think that anyone messed it up and our policy was huge and he already told us what it was gonna be about, so 90% of the class probably pre-wrote. Mine could be anything from a B - Athelong wrote:One exam down, two to go. Feel like I pretty much nailed it, so hopefully no big surprises (B- or B would probably be surprising). I do not feel nearly as confident for admin this friday.

Depends on prof. Some will take points off, some will just stop reading at the word limit, some won't care.Blessedassurance wrote:what happens when you go over a word limit?

Never dude. Write on and then we have to work our summer jobs and get ready for OCI and then do OCI and then 2L starts. Kill me now.Danger Zone wrote:I'm done... with exams. Trying out for moot court this week and then starting this damn writing. When does it get better?

Uggghhhh fuck that. Ours was pretty straightforward, so I have to imagine that the curve is going to be pretty tight regardless of how well I did. Still feel like It's probs a B+ and maybe A-. But who knows! I felt good about torts last semester, so it might be a similar story when we get grades back.JamMasterJ wrote:Our fact pattern was really simple so I don't think that anyone messed it up and our policy was huge and he already told us what it was gonna be about, so 90% of the class probably pre-wrote. I believe that if its an affirmative covenant that it won't run if there is no vertical privity, but if its a negative covenant it will still run even if there ins't vertical privity.redsox550 wrote:what is the difference with regards to "running with the land" between an affirmative and negative convenient? do we apply the notice +intent + privity ect. tests to both?

It's always an uncomfortable feeling when most of my classmates walk out of an exam feeling like it was brutal and the worse thing ever, and I'm thinking to myself how it really wasn't that bad.

I hate the feeling when you think over an exam you just took and something you missed pops into your head. Ugh.
3 down and 1 to go. My test on Wednesday is going to be atrocious. I just hope that my classmates are similarly disinclined to study.
