I've been trying desperately to forget that we even have grades ... And I'm not really sure when we're supposed to get the (last two weeks of Jan I think). But I'm heading back to school now and the anxiety is beginning to settle in!!

Sorry, I know I've been totally MIA ... all of this 1L crap forced me to put my TLSing on the backburner!! I'm glad you guys are here to carry on our generation of posters though.

Corsair said even 1 prof being late means they won't release anything. Are they making an exception for this?

I'm sure the anticipation gets worse as it gets closer. For me, it is too far out to get crazy over them now. I'll be checking five times a day around the end of Jan. Kind of how I checked those status checkers compulsively last winter.

yea i remember my late decision to ED had something to do with that. put myself out of my misery. dunno how the freak y'all took and retook the LSAT and reapplied and waited until summer waitlists and all kinds of insanity. i don't have the gallbladder for that kinda stuff.

Got 3/4 grades this evening.

Disappointed in Legal Research. Fucking median.

Very happy about Civ Pro and Torts. Hopefully K's comes through with another high grade.

I was thinking bottom 50% on a brutal curve because I thought I bombed my all day take home Civ Pro final, now if I can swing an B+/A in K's top 10%-15 is almost sure thing, although school doesn't rank until end of Spring.

Same, but I do not see this as being on the bright side. Having to drown my sorrows multiple times is not good for my liver or my wallet.

SIS I think? But I wouldn't expect much for at least a bit.

i'm kind of hoping to be a free rider on this one. most of the section is probably as keyed up as we are, and the moment grades are available there'll almost certainly be a section wide email.

Yeah, i figure that'll be the case. By the time I wake up, the chances that a grade has been posted and EVERYONE has missed it are pretty slim. I do wish the UVA law blog were still up and running though, it'd be nice to have some sort of idea when to expect something happening.

You get your grades on SIS. However, before they release the grades, they post the Course Evaluation on LawWeb. So if you want to know when a grade release is imminent (usually that night, but I've seen it be MUCH slower), you can check the Completed Course Evaluations for this semester.

Sorry for giving you a new page to obsessively refresh. (But you're right that it would be a rare section where no one checked and reported back to the section listserv.)

If it helps at all, though, my first grade last year didn't come out until mid-January, so if that's any indication, it may be at least another week until we see movement.

Torts: A
Destroyed this exam. Typed ~9000 words in 2.5 hours; next closest student total was 5000ish. I also spent too much time on this subject and thus knew it cold. My brain was in overdrive on the day of the exam, and the exam was tailored to things I had focused on and topics I knew a lot about independently.

Ks: B+
Hoping for the just above median here. This exam was brutal, so perhaps I'm underestimating myself. The whole class seemed to struggle with it, and I spent too much time analyzing certain issues. Subpar (if not turrible) results on our practice midterm for a large % of the class is my only saving grace here.

Civ Pro: Ask me tomorrow afternoon.

LRW: B+?
No idea how to tell, honestly. I killed the 20% "final", but have no idea how to gauge my memo's quality. I'll take the safe route here and call it a just-above median B+.

A- on Civ Pro tomorrow leaves me right at the 10% cutoff.

Based on my experience, they're much, much more aspie than you are. Even if you point out what they're doing, they just accuse you of stealing their thunder.

First grade is up and I'm mighty pleased! As long as Ks doesn't dominate me... I think I'll be happy with my semester.

Yea I want the bandaid ripped off. In fact I'd appreciate just being emailed by GPA. Then being able to look up individual grades an hour later.

Cannot find my "predictions" from earlier, but I just got my results back. 3 As and 2 A+s. Much better than I predicted. If only I had these results before Christmas/New Years! Would have saved me some stress.
