I don't have the energy to do OL answers to PTs.... but I was able to do a quick issue spotting + fork spotting for one so far. Better than nothing, I guess. No MAs for this class sadly, but my friend sent me MAs from his, so I guess reading over those might be a good ideaDed Precedent wrote:Keep on keepin on breh.Bronck wrote:Yeaaahhh, I really need to find a way to motivate myself. I wouldn't even be that upset if I didn't get it. And I'm not usually a prestige whore. But for some reason, I need to do this. Honestly I know I'm not going to write onto LR, but everyone at NU on a fucking journal and I KNOW it's gonna look fucking shitty if I'm not on one. If everyone is on a journal, then I'd gather the write on is a flame and you'll get one even if yours is meh quality. At least that's how I'm gonna feel going into ours.crumpetsandtea wrote: Honestly I know I'm not going to write onto LR, but everyone at NU on a fucking journal and I KNOW it's gonna look fucking shitty if I'm not on one. Well, all our secondary journals are pretty much equal and everyone gets a spot. So yeah you're right. But it's more of an anger that I have to do this bullshit write-on at all lol. And that this is what I'm gonna be doing on my journal for 2 years.Bronck wrote:If everyone is on a journal, then I'd gather the write on is a flame and you'll get one even if yours is meh quality. This is a whole new type of awful. Not nearly as hard as finals, but a million times more tedious.

I think there are about as many people doing the competition as there are spots.
And I'm not sure if complaining about how long ours is would be an honor code violation.

...lol. I have no idea how long it actually is, I'm just guessing. I can't imagine how saying "I have a bunch of pages to read" would be an honor code violation. Everyone has a lot of pages to read.Blumpbeef wrote:I think there are about as many people doing the competition as there are spots.

I didn't count the pages, but it was a 2.5" stack of paper, printed on both sides. And it was a week long. A thirty-hour write-on would be SO MUCH NICER. Worst experience of law school so far.

One exam down, two to go. Feel like I pretty much nailed it, so hopefully no big surprises (B- or B would probably be surprising). I do not feel nearly as confident for admin this friday.
