Once upon a time I would wonder how such a disproportionate number of people were getting straight A's. Don't worry about lying to people on TLS, but remember that future employers may want an actual transcript from your school, and won't just take your word that you're in the top 2.5% of the class. I have even less interest in your doctored transcripts than your made up grades.

Will say though that in my experience companies/government entities will request the transcript directly from my school. So you may want to prepare your Ferris Bueller-esque plan now.
Let me guess, you also believe the U.S. gov't was behind 9/11, Tupac is still alive, and the first man on the moon picture is staged.

You actually think I would take time to falsify a transcript? and come back to a grade-waiting thread on TLS to post fake grades? You sound bitter AF about my grades, like it's impossible to get the grades I got. You have a questionable professional judgment, brother. Ur obviously a median-pwned law student lol

Dude ur law school grades, particularly when paired with your UG grades, say much more about your decision-making skills/critical thinking skills than your writing skills or legal aptitude

And not in the way you may think

Like I said though I don't really know what a Seattle U is, and I don't think employers do either, so you definitely need to hustle next semester and improve if you want a decent shot at gainful employment

Btw you said your school was ranked #110. It's actually ranked #113

Transferring out; UCLA/NYU are what I'm looking at. If my spring is similar to my fall grades, I'll be well past the 75% median for both.

Edit: realize UCLA is quite a bit lower than NYU, but if I don't land NYU I want to stay on west coast, and Berkeley is hard as hell to get into.

I would go with NYU or another t14-/apply broadly. Don't go to UCLA if you can help it; this isn't an insult but you'll need the boost in employment #'s that come from attending a non-GULC t14 (negates the stigma of being atttransfer and covers for your likely aspieness). Keep those grades up; good luck!!

You took the time to private message me some long winded nonsense and you took the time to lie to people you don't know on a website. Of course you would fake a transcript. I don't care about your grades, because a) they don't have any impact on me, and b) you made them up. If anything I'm more annoyed that you think I'm dumb enough to believe such a lie. You have the stink of liar about you, and you don't strike me as the type who is smart enough to come up with 2 A's and 2 A-'s without putting in any effort.

And so now because you're a liar, I must have gotten bad grades....LOL.

In talking about professional judgment. You should know that you will be that guy at any job that is universally disliked. You will be that guy that people roll their eyes at. You will probably never advance because you're just that guy that no one likes....including your boss and clients. You are just that guy. Its cool of course, because someone has to be that guy or else the rest of the world wouldn't have someone to make fun of.

I get why you're saying this, but in law it's as true as you think the OP's grades are.

Lol.. Ok, what about this: I literally take my iphone, film myself, my driver's license for proof of indentification, then (all in the same clip), log into my Seattle U account, go to transcript, and show you. Literally no way I could fake that. Ill film me typing it into the browser, me logging in, and clicking on everything. Idk how anyone could possibly deny the proof in that. Also I love how entrenched you are in saying my grades are fake; like, what evidence do you have of this? Purely speculation, you're just guessing. Anyway, if you want me to do the vid for you, to prove you wrong, let me know. lol

Edit: I bet your response completely leaves out the "what evidence do you have" part of my reply. Or you just won't reply altogether, since there is no way any rational person would discredit an iphone video of me checking my transcript

will apply to CLS also but I think NYU is more realistic tbh. CLS so hard to get in

Leave this kid alone.

I think it is much more likely that he is smart and could pull those grades without studying all day during finals because he was at Seattle U and not a top school like CLS/NYU etc, or that he studied so much during the semester that he didn't have to study much during finals. For instance, if you are well prepared, you wouldn't study much, if at all, the day before a final.

If you keep up the good work, you will be able to transfer to Columbia.

Of course, it's also possible that he is making this up, in which case he should see a doctor. But I think that's unlikely. If someone were to do that, he/she would say he goes to a top school. And mentally disabled people like that are rare.

You're a lying liar. Stop trying to come up with things you would never actually do in an effort to prove grades you don't have in an attempt to impress upon people in a message board that you MUST not be a lying liar because you made such an offer.

Offering to go out of your way to prove your grades to someone who doesn't know you on the internet is clearly a ploy. If you really got those grades you wouldn't give two shits who said what. If someone questioned my grades, even in real life, I would keep it moving, because it wouldn't matter to me. Even in real life, I'm not going to be like "oh my goodness, you think my grades are fake, lets go to the registrars office and I'll have them print me a transcript, and then I'll show you my drivers license and you can check it against the name, and I'll bring you my birth certificate so you know thats really me."

But that is the confidence and lack of care you have when you're a person who is not a lying liar like you. When you are trying to jump through hoops for people on a message board who don't know you, its more than likely because you're desperate to hold onto an image that is important to you, because the image is all you have.

A person with genuine grades is not going to feel the need to videotape themselves on an IPhone, show their DL on camera, log into their law school account and go to their transcript and all that other nonsense. They wouldn't even offer. Especially for people they don't know on the internet.

LOL -- you've already been called out for being a lying liar, and you somehow think you're in the unique position of being the first person in law school to lie about their grades. You are not. :)

LOL - again, you get called a lying liar and that somehow means I must have terrible grades.

All you need to know is I have no need to lie about my grades, because I'm not a lying liar like you. :)

Here is a newsflash for you. People with good grades don't need to convince total strangers that they got good grades, unless that total stranger is going to hire them or has some position of influence.

If all is as he says and he keeps up those grades, yes, he has a good shot at CLS, but you should know who you're white-knighting for before you do it.

Originally he posted before the end of the fall citing his GPA and asking what his chances were. Then, when asked how he already had a GPA if he was a 1L or how he expected to transfer if he was already a 2L, he claimed to have finished his 1L but taken time off and was looking to return to school but as a transfer. Then, when he posted about being a 1L again I called him on his bullshit and he either argued or proposed arguing that he and his brother were both at SU and shared a TLS account, like it's some sort of family AOL account in the '90s. On top of that, you have the obfuscation of giving the ranking of his school as 110 (which would mean Gonzaga) rather than 113 (SU). So folks are rightly skeptical as to what the truth is.

(My own suspicion is that he is a 1L at SU who started this summer with their single-class summer-start option. But as far as what his grades are, I don't have any clue, and don't really care. But if I needed to know for some odd reason, I would be reluctant to take him at his word).

Some folks ITT may have been going hard pretty into the boards on this one, but OP clearly teed up this sort of criticism, regardless of whether he teed up the degree of it.

As for why it matters, the on-topic threads are helpful to people, but only to the extent that people don't lie about their experiences or discuss things they have no basis of knowledge to discuss. This guy's a liar and got called out for it.

BTW, it wouldn't have taken a lot of detective work to figure this out. It's all here in this thread.

Posted my 1L GPA before I had it, yes (I was.04 off on my prediction), because I wanted to know if I had a shot at CLS/get some feedback without being 0L locked. Also, yes, I messed the rank up of SU just because it used to be in the 90s/100, and I kinda hate it's all the way at 113. I realize the inconsistencies, but my grades posted are true, and it doesn't really matter in the big picture whether people believe it or not

Also, rcharter is the most bitter person lol. Is his mind he is 100% convinced I'm a "lying liar". He probably never has gotten a single A

HIS NEW ARGUMENT: "If they WERE true, you wounld't keep replying and arguing they are real"..... Really strong argument, man. I'm sure this is the reason you are median-pwned at your school, terrible arguments like this. People whose integrity are challenged usually respond in a way to prove themselves, which I did.

With all the inconsistencies, it really makes one doubt your grade. I mean, you can't even make a post right.

There are at least 80 law schools in the United States where being median pwned is just as good or better than being top 2.5% at Seattle U.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
