I should have used an emoticon, but I'm too lazy.

I strongly prefer that planes go over my head.

By avoiding the process and only seeking out the finished product, you are doing yourself a disservice, and you are hindering your ability to do this analysis yourself. There is no casenotes for the exam.
The thing is when I read a case and do a brief myself I don't have any problems figuring out the rule/holding ect. I mostly just stopped reading the casebook because it takes to long and I'm too lazy.

Do most people seriously read the whole case and make a brief? That just seems like a ridiculous waste of time to me.

Also, I go to a TTT if that makes any different.
You are going to be a horrible lawyer. You should feel bad.

That was a good one.

I gotta go with Kinsman in torts. The facts of that case would be ridiculous even for a movie script. Although I'm probably forgetting a bunch of torts/crim cases I thought were awesome at the time.

FWIW, i stopped reading my civ pro casebook after a while, turned to Glannon Guide and E&E, and got A's both semesters.

I think this was a really rare case though, because it was pretty easy to figure out my professor. I had an outline that was basically verbatim what he said in class, and the supplements gave me practice with application. Reading the casebook wasn't efficient at all, for what my professor was looking for on the exams.

and stop hating on the kid for being at a TTT. I guarantee everyone on here would have said I was probably "fucked" If I'd posted my pre-law stats and plans, but I worked my ass off and managed several t14 transfer acceptances and biglaw offers.

but i'll still concede that yes, technically there is a presumption (95% chance?) of being fucked....this comes to mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX5jNnDMfxA
