We shall have to actually attend the same party when finals are over. Here's to another amazing run!

Yes, you don't get to complain. Don't you have like a 4.3?

ehhh, good luck tomorrow!
3.9ish

after spring finals

likely a 3.5
I still say ehhh. Disco_barred says that is mathematically impossible, or really unlikely, or... what did he say? Those who have one amazing semester will almost certainly have another. :D

Then you'd be just like me, but with higher first semester grades.

(I suspect you're going to kick ass, just from what I've seen of your posts.)

blah we'll see but i appreciate the confidence

however finishing my crim law outline 8 hours before the test isn't exactly making me super excited to take the exam 8 hours from now (on likely 3 hours of sleep)

although i took every exam last semester on 2 or fewer hours of sleep. one of them i just didnt go to bed.

I didn't sleep before mine either. You know this stuff. You have a demonstrated track record, and it's what's in your head that matters. Crim law was my best class last semester, and I think I glanced at my outline for all of three seconds (I was terrified of running out of time.)

That said, get off TLS and at least go through the motions of sleeping!

When you see a fact pattern, attack whatever the is being considered as a return to Lochner. Collect your A, write me a thank you letter.

Can you do torts next? <3

The discretionary function doctrine in sovereign immunity is giving me heart palpitations.

or did the rules say

"beat people up to prevent crime"

All I remember about soverign immunity is that it cannot be overriden by the commerce clause.

Torts: The fundamental principle of torts is that nobody understands torts, and we mask our failures with latin. If something is too complex to actually be decided, just re-write it in latin, call it a day, and go play golf. Res ipsa loquitur.

Just put liability on the lowest cost avoider. Barring sigficiant transaction cost, the parties will bargain around it.

Man, some famous TLS'ers in here. Obviously second the shout out to Arrow, but have done that many times. (wonder if he knew what he started when he wrote that)

Few questions:
1) think this will continue after 1L? (I know I'll be on here 24/7 in the summer during transfer season...see you there A'nold)

2) Does almost everyone on TLS just rock law school or something?

3) Seriously though, can someone teach us Con Law on here?

i think it's just those who do well are more apt to talk/post about it and those that don't do well are not apt to post/talk about it

1) I'll definitely be here over the summer.
2) I think I'll be posting on here 30 years from now. I told my wife that I will get 1,000,000 posts one day and laughed. She didn't laugh at first and said she believes it....then laughed.
3) I thought that one thing Opera wrote about was from torts. If con law, then of course I haven't heard of it b/c that is a second year class here.
4) I forgot what I was supposed to type here but I love this wine I'm drinking.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
