Talk when you know what you are talking about, 0L. Its a matter of priorities. I get my work done, hang out with my girlfriend (who is also a law student), and keep up on my djing. The sacrifice? I don't watch tv, I don't do leisure reading, and I don't really have time for gaming. My social life consists of going out once a week with the girlfriend to parties with other law students. Its all a matter of what you want, and whether you're willing to prioritize certain things above others.
oh, he's a 0L? what the hell.

Irrelevant, of course you can have a relationship, but don't plan on finishing above median. I'm just assuming that OP wants to get the most out of his investment. The keys to law schools, based on the research I've done:

1. Be single
2. Never go to social events
3. delete your facebook, and cut of all ties with your previous pre-law friends
4. Do not watch television.

Truly, if you're not doing this, don't go. You won't make it.

Us 0Ls should have a big red line across our avatars to keep us from giving out advice like this.

Some of the wealthiest and most successful attorneys I know violated your first three rules. I'll let them know that they are all failures. :D

To his credit, the sarcasm is starting to come through a little. It was completely absent from the first post.

Eh? He's no Comedy Store, but I think I get it now. Maybe I need some caffeine, been a long day.

I find it absolutely amazing how many people took this post seriously. He's obviously making a joke.

Are the people taking this seriously just pretending to take this seriously to further the joke and trick me? Please tell me that's the case.

Sadly, I think some people actually do approach it this way. I wonder if it's worth it.

It might not have been funny, but I promise it was a joke. Though seeing some of the borderline insane stuff on here, I can understand why it was taken seriously.

After the second post, I saw the sarcasm. But the first post fits right in with some of the borderline insanity that is on TLS. Maybe I should have paid more attention to that insane post count...
