Re: 2L exam prep thread
i was 100% sure I was egtting an A on my t&e exam...then the last 20 minutes of the exm hit and it all went down hill--now I am certain I got a C.
i couldnt figure out where the assets that passes through intestacy goes into the analysis [is it a nonprobate transfer?! its def not probate! wth?!]
i spent so much time trying to figure it out, i never got all the way thru the elective share analysis....as a result, I ran out of time to talk about lost wills, which was th elas issue on the exam. It was so blatant--nobody will miss that one
I just keep calculating how many points i probably missed and how i will never get an A or A-...hopefully i didnt mess up bad enough to get below median :-/

lol
I feel sad for you guys. Law school exams are a piece of cake. Once you've taken one of them, the rest are just the same. I'm actually working on my law review note in between exams. 2L has been a snooze fest.

On another note, MY LAST EXAM IS TOMORROW....it is the one exam I am confident I can get an A on this semester.
Just took my Commercial Law exam (secured transactions, commercial paper with a review of contracts), and I have no idea how I feel about the exam. The multiple choice was killer, as expected, but I managed to almost finish (had to blindly guess on about 5 of them), and I don't think I did that bad, although I don't feel great about it either.

Oh fuck me and fuck law school. I was sitting in my shower minding my own business when into my head pops the realization. There was a statute I correctly applied to the 2nd half of a question. I just forgot that the result of that statute being met turns cap. gains income into a constructive dividend, which then triggers an analysis that we spent 3 classes on that I didn't even touch on the exam.
I just spent 30 minutes standing in my shower working this entire 2nd half of the problem in my head, and I've now come to the conclusion that I earned exactly 0 points on the last 1/8th-1/6th of my exam. Fuck.

Also, I'm done. Thought the exam was easy, which means I missed shit. But doesn't matter, done.

I'm eagerly anticipating Diablo 3 in just a few months. Not sure how I will balance summer job or 3L year with the time commitments I will be putting into that game.Grizz wrote:Need a decent computer game for break. Suggestions? Go sprites man: Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy VI, you can download an emulator, the game ROM, and start playing in like 3 minutes. Or, if we're talking about PC games, Age of Empires: Age of Kings is the best RTS ever, whereas Rome: total war is the best TBS game ever.Grizz wrote: Off. I like a good single player experience.
