In terms of "billable hours" of studying, I'd say I've done a pretty consistent 6-7 hours a day over the last few weeks (including hours I've spend in class).

Definitely how it's been at Penn. Everyone freaked out for like 2 weeks after grades were released, but its been really chill ever since.

Some law firms hire full time baristas. You might be able to work your way up to partner once you get your foot in the door.

I'm having some serious trouble untangling what a liberty interest is, and how it's balanced against state regulation / infringement. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

It's anything that's not a fundamental right. Assuming you're talking about substantive due process, that means you get rational basis review and the state almost always gets upheld.
