Same bro. Keep it strong. I'm trying to get through these PTs and find my weaknesses.
My team... how many PTs do you believe are proper for each class? I have about 3-4 weeks. Do you feel 7 per class is sufficient?

Yea, sometimes it's a nice way to set up a straw man to rip down with a better argument. I kinda like to seesaw between increasingly strong arguments until I get to the coup de grace.

It's all personal. Some you need none. Some you need 1. And so on. Only you will know what's right.

7 sounds like extreme overkill.
I imagine 3-4 max is good enough.
Last sem, during reading period, I did 2-3 for torts, 2 for civ pro and 0 for contracts.
I maybe did 1 for each class prior to that.

On a similar note, I did 1 full PT. I do like to pick at them, issue-spot without taking the exam, just get fluent, see the arguments in my head and turn them over. I just find multiple PTs exhausting.

Agreed. I don't think I ever spent more than ~50-60% time on them. I imagine I'll adopt the same strategy this time around.

Thanks guys. I think I'll shoot for less than 5 to get the hang of testing conditions. I'll just issue spot the rest.
Then, I can spend my time on E&E and CALI problems.

With PT's, I feel like I always get more out of reading the answers than trying to work through the questions. I always copy good rule and issue descriptions straight from old model answers into my outlines.

Full length PTs? For me, 2-3 per class.
Single Essay questions? Countless.

I should probably start doing single essay questions sometime this week. I have plenty of old exams from other profs with MAs for practice

Exactly 1 week until my first final.

Not too stressed (though I definitely feel like I haven't done enough these past 2-3 weeks...) but I'm excited to get 1L over with!

After last semester, I never had a chance at any of those anyway.
But I am trying to get from a ~3.3 (median) to ~3.5 (top third) so I need like a 3.7 this semester anyway.

Anyone know where I can get some MC crim questions with answers? My professor gave us last years exam but didn't give us an answer key so a lot of people are just trying to work through that, but I figure it might be more helpful/productive for me to do more MC questions that I can actually see the answer to.

Hey CSWS'ers...shaken but safe here; I was on the marathon route but ~5 miles away from the finish line when the bomb blasts happened.

I'm resilient and back to the GRIND after a truly frightening day. In fact, it just motivates me to work harder so one day I can prosecute perps of horrific crimes like what happened yesterday.
