I was thinking of commenting on the wall of the facebook group "So who else made Law Review?"
I think the rest of the class would hate you. LOL.

I'm a little surprised at the silence on FB. There seriously hasn't been a peep about the calls being out...
If someone posted that they're out, everyone would just think they're just bragging.
Add a poll choice to the thing they're all voting on right now: "finding out that you made law review this morning"

That would be priceless.

This is actually a bad situation brewing for quite a few kids... many on the secondary journals won't find out until after the Sunday bid deadline has passed...

I sent an email to the CSO yesterday asking them to try to prod the selections through ASAP for that reason.

I got a somewhat testy response.

Dinged. Oh well, I graded onto every secondary journal so I'll make do with what I have. It's still something to put on a resume.

First rule of law review: don't complain about being on law review.

So I heard. Congratulations! When did you get yours? I'm holding out hope, but it's quickly slipping away.

Have Harvard calls gone out?

When did they go out last year?

For some reason I was thinking today was the day.

what should i do? i was looking forward to just taking some exams and not having any deadlines and stuff.
update:

this seems like a massive pain in the ass and waste of time. leaning toward skipping it.

The answer depends entirely upon what you expect to gain from membership.

Made law review... got the call last night. What a relief. That wait was most certainly worse than grades.

Well, for one, it's a significant (and perhaps necessary) resume-line boost if you have clerkship aspirations.

Get Volohk's Academic Legal Writing.

More on the topic: http://ssrn.com/abstract=1711533 (interesting critique+review of the advice from Volokh+two others).

Anyone else doing a secondary journal having some buyer's remorse? I sort of feel like I'm following a herd for no benefit.

Thanks, that article looks good. I have volohk; it's 1300 miles away at my school apartment.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
