If you need a way to do it quickly and extremely painfully, just ask a group of median students that questionphonepro wrote:3.8 spring semester.. but only 3.5 fall. ranked top 14% at bls. kill self? life over?

I mostly did as expected (middling to mediocre). There was one class where I figured I either did really well or really poorly. Of course it was the latter.
At least I passed?

I thought you loved 'Nova? Why the transfer apps (especially at where you're at in the class)? If you don't want to answer here, shoot a PM.beach_terror wrote:God, I loathe having to use the LSAC site again for transfer apps. UGHHHH

Last grade in. I did alright but had a huge drop off from the fall almost .7 lower but I am fortunate to still be in a good spot. Not happy with my relative performance but things will work out.

Seriously. A .7 drop for me, or even like a .3 drop, and I would have considered dropping out.Desert Fox wrote:.7? woa. You must have done pretty well last time.weee wrote:Last grade in. You have to mean .07, right? No way you could have done "alright" this semester, still be in a "good spot," AND experienced a .7 drop, no matter how well you did first semester.weee wrote:Last grade in. It's possible because of the way grades are distributed along the 0.0-4.0 spectrum.traehekat wrote:You have to mean .07, right? Ah, that's true. Didn't think there were schools that even did that. You can not even show up to the final exam and still get a 1.5 at my school.stratocophic wrote:It's possible because of the way grades are distributed along the 0.0-4.0 spectrum.traehekat wrote:You have to mean .07, right? Re: 1L grade waiting thread
BTW, when people talk about their drops, do they mean from fall semester to 1L cumulatively? Or from fall to spring?
