After the paper posting of my one grade showed me a B-, it goes electronic tonight and shows B+. Had to take a celebratory drink, though waking up in less than 5 hours for work tomorrow is going to suck.

Final tally: 3.84 on the semester, 3.60 on the year, on a 2.85 curve at my TTT.
So where does that put you? I have an acquaintance there with a 3.4 - I didn't know their curve was that low.
At Wayne, the 2009-2010 ranking cutoffs were:

Top 10% cutoff last year was a 3.61
Top 20% cutoff last year was a 3.39
Top 25% cutoff last year was a 3.32
Top 33.3% cutoff last year was a 3.10
Top 50% was a 2.87
Top 75% was a 2.38

Keep in mind, we don't rank until 2L fall, when transfers and others leave, so these might be a little deflated, actually. I'm submitting a few transfer apps, but because I'm planning on staying in Michigan, I'm very happy to stay where I am if none of them turn out. There is one long-shot dream (Michigan) but the others are more "well, I might as well if I'm putting in the work."

Still have 1 outstanding. It's the one where most of my ego is riding - I put the most time into it, but the competition was by far the fiercest in that class. If I don't get at least an A-, I'm definitely going to feel kinda crushed.

Oh my goddddd my hands are actually shaking. First two grades came in:

Evidence: A
Constitutional Law: A+

i actually cried after the evidence exam was over because i almost forgot to answer a question and had to do it in about ten minutes.

lol I got really excited because grades are due for professors today, so I assumed they'd all be out today.

but I re-read the e-mail, and if they're turned in today they technically won't be up for another 2-3 days.

Some professors come in after the deadline regardless. It's a "strong suggestion" for when to turn in grades.

Yeah, ours don't show up online until the next day, but they appear on the phone grade system here the instant they're posted. That wait between the computer voice listing the course number and grade is terrifying.

I received an email monday from my civ pro prof saying grades had been submitted. Still haven't been posted online. This is BS.

Oh, that's cruel. :? Thankfully, courses whose grades have been posted get the course evals put up at the same time, so it's kind of a nice warning.

Grades all in. Some small surprises, but they balanced each other out in the end. Did best in the class that had the stiffest competition, and that feels pretty nice. Well, farewell thread; congrats to everyone who did well, condolences to those who did worse than expected, and sympathy for those who are still waiting. Those grades have gotta come fairly soon. Right?
