Perfectly happy with my slightly-above-average brief after the debacle of last semester's LRW. Lecture today on how to decide fall courses. Though I think I know what I want to do, figuring out how to order things (example: "Agency, Partnership, and the LLC" conflicting with CrimPro when I want to do corporate and prosecution is my backup, and not knowing whether to go ahead and take things like Corporations and Deals alongside CrimPro) is tricky.
Also, what is the forum's advice in this situation: being accepted into one summer job, but having an upcoming interview with (or at the very least, having interviewed but not heard back one way or another from) an employer whom you'd prefer to work for. This isn't my situation (yet! Lol) but it seems relevant and worth discussing.

Are you taking a one semester property class or do they teach future estates your second semester in Property II? Just curious.Nova wrote:Today is the day I will figure out estates and future interests.

Checking in... I don't know how I haven't seen this thread before.
Tell me if you do. I have heard rumors of mystical figures accomplishing this task but have never seen or met one myself.Nova wrote:Today is the day I will figure out estates and future interests.

Damn you, finer points of felony murder doctrine... The basic idea is simple enough but the details of its application just aren't clicking. Spring break in two weeks to figure this shit out.

Civ Pro: lernt.
Property: Half-way through E&FI. Need to learn the rest: easements, leaseholds, etc.
Con Law: need to learn the entire class. Thankfully, it's doable...or so I've heard?

Off an on. I've got a shitload of supplements. We have a test before the final exclusively on the cases. I'm thinking property next week, and the week after that begin Con...might skip Barristers after all.Blumpbeef wrote:Depends on how tough your prof is. The only thing keeping me alive in Con Law is Chemerinsky. Question, for those who took Con Law, did you read his entire supplement?Geaux12 wrote:Off an on. I've got a shitload of supplements. Q&A is way too easy. Check out Siegel's.TLS wrote:Sorry LGL, I haven't taken con law yet, but does any one know a good supplement to get practice problems for criminal law? I have the crunchtime. Just wondering if I should get the E&E or Q&A. My prof said the CALI's for crim law are terrible.
